Firangi Superstar Happy Hour, Directed — Not Documented
Firangi Superstar has never claimed to be India as it is. It’s India as it’s felt — heightened, romantic, and just a little unreal. The dining room plays the role of the movie set; the bar is where the camera cuts in close. That’s where the colours deepen, the dialogue sharpens, and the story gets personal.
Our new activation, Officers Only: Happy Hour, is your way into that close‑up.
From 5.30pm to 7.00pm, the Officer’s Club becomes a kind of lounge between scenes: a place where off‑duty officers trade stories, flip through “mission reports”, and order one more drink before the next chapter of the night begins.
Cinema, Not Classics
The Firangi Superstar bar doesn’t pour classics for the sake of tradition. It takes familiar formats and directs them like scenes in a film — same structure, different story.
For Officers Only, we’ve cast three cocktails as the leads:
Jangali Chidaya
Rum, Aperol, berries and lime. Tropical, bitter, bright; a Jungle Bird that’s gone a little feral and refuses to be tamed.
Chai Collins
Gin, chai, citrus and soda. Spice, zest, flow; like catching the breeze from a street‑side chai stall and a G&T at the same time.
Jodhpur Mule
Vodka, pickled ginger, rosemary and soda. Aromatic, crisp, wild; a Mule that’s traded Moscow snow for Rajasthani heat.
They’re not just twists on classics — they’re little character studies in a glass.
If you’re not in the mood for spirits, the supporting cast is just as considered: a Chianti and Pinot Grigio by Buccia Nera and Fantini, an Italian Prosecco by Botter, and an easy‑drinking Asahi Dry for those who prefer their happy hour cold, clean and uncomplicated.
Bar Snacks as Plot Twists
Every good scene needs something to pick at, gesture with, and linger over.
Officers Only comes with its own bar snacks menu, built for sharing, passing and revisiting. Start with a line‑up of Chutney & Raita — coriander mint, coconut, smokey tomato, cashew‑sesame and spiced mango — mixed and matched 2 for $10 or 3 for $14, because no one should have to choose just one.
From there, the story escalates........
White Corn Puri with corn mousse, baby corn kachumber and popcorn
Chole Masala Puri with spiced chickpeas, green chilli chutney and pomegranate
Caviar Puri crowned with Oscietra caviar, smoked potato and crème fraîche
Fried Burrata with Manchurian chilli sauce and scallions
Wagyu Beef Tartare with caviar, grated egg and gunpowder spice
Malabar Crab Croquettes with Kashmiri chilli aioli
Grilled Octopus with pollichathu sauce, coconut chips and banana leaf
It’s grazing translated into Firangi Superstar’s cinematic universe — familiar Indian references filtered through a foreign officer’s imagination.
Your First Scene at the Bar
This isn’t just a price‑driven happy hour. It’s a gateway into the Firangi Superstar bar programme — a way to meet the characters (our cocktails), discover the subplots (the snacks), and decide you’re staying for the full feature.
Come in early. Take a seat at the bar. Let the team talk you through the drinks like they’re storyboards — why the chai, why the pickled ginger, why this chutney and not that one.
By the time your table in the dining room is ready, you haven’t just “killed time”.You’ve already watched the opening act.
